Surah Name: An-Nahl Meaning: The Bee

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ Huwa allathee anzala mina a(l)ssamai maan lakum minhu sharabun waminhu shajarun feehi tuseemoon(a) He-SWT it is Who-SWT sends down from the heaven water for you from which is drinking and from which are trees from which you pasture your herds. (16:10) |
Yunbitu lakum bihi a(l)zzarAAa wa(al)zzaytoona wa(al)nnakheela wa(a)laAAnaba wamin kulli a(l)ththamarati inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroon(a) He-SWT grows thereby the corn and olive and date palms and grapes and all manner of fruit. Verily in that is a Sign for a people who ponder. (16:11) |
Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla wa(al)nnahara wa(al)shshamsa wa(a)lqamara wa(al)nnujoomu musakhkharatun biamrihi inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yaAAqiloon(a) And He-SWT has subjected to you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His-SWT Command. Verily in that are Signs for a people who understand. (16:12) |
Wama tharaa lakum fee alardi mukhtalifan alwanuhu inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaththakkaroon(a) And He-SWT has subjected to you what He-SWT has multiplied for you on the earth of various kinds. Verily in that is a Sign for a people who receive admonition (16:13) |
Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahra litakuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulka mawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroon(a) And He-SWT it is Who-SWT has subjected to you the sea that you may eat of it fresh flesh, and bring forth out of it ornaments you wear. And you see ship ploughing therein, and it is in order that you may seek of His-SWT Grace and that perhaps you may be grateful. (16:14) |
وَأَلْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ Waalqa fee alardi rawasiya an tameeda bikum waanharan wasubulan laAAallakum tahtadoon(a) And He-SWT has cast firm mountains on the earth lest it moves away with you, and rivers and paths that perhaps you may be directed. (16:15) |
وَعَلامَاتٍ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ WaAAalamatin wabi(al)nnajmi hum yahtadoon(a) And also landmarks; and by stars they are guided. (16:16) |
أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لاَّ يَخْلُقُ أَفَلا تَذَكَّرُونَ Afaman yakhluqu kaman la yakhluqu afala tathakkaroon(a) Is One Who-SWT creates as one who cannot create? Will you not be admonished? (16:17) |
وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ اللّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ Wain taAAuddoo niAAmata Allahi la tuhsooha inna Allaha laghafoorun raheem(un) And if you would count the favours of Allaah-SWT you could not compute them; verily Allaah-SWT is Forgiving, Merciful (16:18) |
وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ Wa(A)llahu yaAAlamu ma tusirroona wama tuAAlinoon(a) And Allaah-SWT Knows what you keep secret and what you want to make known. (16:19) |
وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ لاَ يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ Wa(a)llatheena yadAAoona min dooni Allahi la yakhluqoona shayan wahum yukhlaqoon(a) Those upon whom they call besides Allaah-SWT have not created anything and are themselves created. (16:20) |
أَمْواتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاء وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ Amwatun ghayru ahyain wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoon(a) Lifeless are they, not alive; they know not when they will be raised up. (16:21) |
